Why the Amalfi Coast

Positano’s stacked pastel houses. The cliffs above Praiano at golden hour. A private terrace in Ravello where the coastline disappears into the horizon. The Amalfi Coast doesn’t need much help looking cinematic — the work is knowing which hour, which turn in the road, which terrace nobody else has access to that day.

Four hours is usually enough. Sometimes it’s a boat pulling into a hidden cove. Sometimes it’s a walk down three hundred steps to a beach only locals know. Either way, the coast does the heavy lifting — I make sure you’re in exactly the right place when it does.

May, early June, and September are ideal — warm, vivid light, manageable crowds. July and August are extremely hot and overcrowded; the coast road is gridlocked and finding any private space is nearly impossible. October is beautiful for light but some businesses begin to close. I’m available May through October, with strong preference for shoulder season.
Positano is the most iconic — vertical, colorful, instantly recognizable. Ravello sits high above the coast and offers panoramic views with a quieter, more aristocratic atmosphere — Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo are extraordinary ceremony locations. Amalfi town is dramatic but more crowded. I’ll advise you based on the images you want and the experience you’re looking for.
Yes — a private boat along the coast is one of the best add-ons available here. Shooting from the water gives you perspectives of the cliffs and villages that are impossible from land. I coordinate the boat as part of the planning; it’s quoted separately based on duration and route.
From Naples: train to Salerno (45 min), then ferry or bus along the coast (30–60 min depending on destination). From Rome: train to Naples (1h10 by high-speed), then as above. I recommend arriving the evening before and staying overnight — trying to travel the morning of is stressful and the coast road can be unpredictable. I can suggest accommodation options in each town.
Hair and makeup is available as an add-on (+€500) with a trusted local artist on the coast. If you prefer to come ready from your hotel, that’s completely fine — the base package includes everything else.
The Amalfi Coast in peak season (May–June, September) books very early — I recommend reaching out 8–12 months in advance. Later dates and shoulder season have more flexibility. Reach out with your preferred window and I’ll let you know what’s available.
